Hanna Rode is an artist working in theater, opera & film.

Her work is based on the idea of using the face and the body as a living canvas to make emotions visible, thus depicting the human being in a radical interpenetration of interiority and exteriority. The figures that emerge are "Frankenstein's characters" - often crudely composed and suspended between digital and analog being.
